Resensys SeniMax™ is an ultra-low power, high-performance wireless data collector, and remote communication gateway. SeniMax™ communicates with SenSpot™ sensors usingIEEE802.15.4 protocol. The wireless communication between SeniMax™ and SenSpot™ sensors is facilitated by an unlicensed ISM 2.4GHz band. SeniMax™ has the capability to transmit the aggregated data from SenSpot™ sensors to any remote data center with Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular data services (depending on the model).
Different versions of SeniMax™ for remote communication using HSPA, Verizon CDMA network or GPRS network are available. Additionally, SeniMax™ can be used as a data logger, where it receives data from SenSpot™ sensors, and stores it before dumping to a remote storage repository.
A single SeniMax™ device can cover up to 120 SenSpot sensors in its communication range (300 meters). SeniMax is an ideal solution for distributed sensing and data acquisition applications where there is no access to main power or communication infrastructures. Particular applications of this wireless data acquisition system include: structural integrity monitoring for highway bridges, airframes, construction projects, pipelines, etc.
